The main regions you may want to volunteer in include The main difference with volunteering in a developed country like Australia is you generally do not pay any money. The downside of this is you won't receive any food or accommodation either so you'll have to organise this yourself. There can be a wider choice of voluntary options out there for people such as filmmaking, writing magazines, sports coaching or surf rescue although the two main areas of voluntary work - conservation and community care, can also still be sought. Search the directory for volunteering opportunities in developed countries. |
