FREE listing in the database £0.
No logo, no info, no priority on the database, just a basic listing. But it's free so you can't grumble at that. All we ask is that you link back to us.

Limited database listing £50
Logo plus 300 word description to sit beneath your entry.

Database listing £175
Logo, priority weighting on the database for your chosen categories, page of information about your organisation.

Silver listing £650
Database listing plus full page entry onto one of our information pages.

Gold listing £1500
Database listing plus four full page entries onto your choice of our information pages. Option to add video and downloadable documents.

Prices quoted are per year. We do not charge VAT. We are happy to shorten or lengthen your time of stay with us. We are also happy to look at affiliate schemes or tailored packages to suit your budget and needs.

Work Travel Volunteer's Ethical Travel Policy

We ask that tour operators and volunteer organisations provide evidence of ethical travel responsibility. This is to ensure all our advertisers are committed to ethical travel and are taking postive steps to minimize (and we hope improve) the economic, social and environmental situation in a region. 

This can be through providing a policy that meets most or all of the below criteria or through submitting written information as to how they putting steps in place to minimize economic, social or environmental damage.

We especially welcome organisations that work to improve the economic, social or environmental situation in a region rather than just minimise negative impact.

Organisations should show how they are:

Minimizing their own organisation's impact on the environment e.g.

Social

Including visits to local grassroots projects with community or environmental benefits (see also below)

Including visits to local markets, restaurants, bars, hotels, homestays or shops as opposed to large chains (see also below)

Contributing in a financial or resources way to a sustainable community development project in the local area.

Economic

Employing local guides and paying fairly

Sourcing resources from the local area

Including visits to local grassroots projects with community or environmental benefits

Including visits to local markets, restaurants, bars, hotels, homestays or shops as opposed to large chains

Environmental

Reducing paper waste

Reducing electricity usage

Reducing water usage

Including visits to local grassroots projects with community or environmental benefits

Contributing in a financial or resources way to a sustainable environmental project in the local area

Minimizing the tourist's impact on the environment e.g.

Social

Advising on cultural etiquette.

Advising on current issues in the local area and how tourists can help.

Economic

Advising on current issues in the local area and how tourists can help.

Encouraging tourists to visit small, local markets, restaurants, bars, shops and providing the reasons why.

Environmental

Advising tourists on water and electricity usage

Advising on eco-friendly camping if you are sleeping outdoors. 

Advising on current issues in the local area and how tourists can help or minimize their impact.

 

Organisations should also provide evidence that all members of staff have read or are aware of the organisation's ethical travel policy or guidelines and adhere to it.
